1) Pour exprimer l‘obligation au passé, on utilise: HAD TO + BASE VERBALE
- forme affirmative: I HAD TO work
- forme négative : I DIDN’T HAVE TO work
- forme interrogative: DID you HAVE TO work ?
On peut aussi utiliser un équivalent comme: BE OBLIGED TO
2)Pour exprimer l’interdiction au passé, on utilise WASN’T ou WEREN’T ALLOWED TO + BASE VERBALE
- I/he/she/it WASN’T ALLOWED TO PLAY
- you/we/they WEREN’T ALLOWED TO PLAY
On peut aussi utiliser un équivalent comme: BE FORBIDDEN TO + BASE VERBALE
